To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so extraordinary a nature, that they cannot fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever watchful providence of Almighty God. Post-Election Entitlement News

The USDA normally releases its report showing how many Americans are on food stamps at the end of the month. This time, the release was delayed nine days past the semi-official deadline, until after the election was over. One glance at the number reveals why – at 47.1 million, this was not only a new all-time record, but the unexpectedly high increase of 420,947 from July was the biggest monthly increase in a year, a statistic that runs counter to the story line that the economy is improving.

The article below reports that at least some federal Jobs Centers are less interested in helping the unemployed find work than in encouraging them to sign up for food stamps.

The federal government funnels billions of dollars into welfare programs that it calls “JobCenters” and “Career Services”. Politicians say these programs are good – that they help people. But what do these centers really do?

I sent my intern, a college student, to a JobsCenter to find out.

Here are her notes on what happened:

First I went to a Jobs Center on 16th Street. I asked, “where can I get help finding a job.” They told me they didn’t do that, “we sign people up for food stamps.”

I went to another Jobs Center on 14th Street. I asked how they could help me find a job, and they told me to go to another floor of the building, enroll for unemployment benefits, and then come back.

Now we know that some centers do help people… help people get on welfare, that is. But what about helping people get jobs?

I explained that I didn’t want handouts, I wanted a job. She told me to go to ‘WorkForce1,’ a New York City job services program.

I walked to the WorkForce1 office on Madison Ave, the office she told me to visit. The receptionist there told me that she couldn’t help me since I didn’t have a college degree. She directed me to a Workforce1 Center in Harlem.

At the center in Harlem, I learned I’d have to attend a “Training Session” at 8:30am before I could get help finding a job.

Only in a Welfare State like this one will the government help me apply for food-stamps on the spot, but force me through a maze of offices and training programs all over the city to help me find a job…

The WorkForce1 website says to arrive 30 minutes early for the session, so I did. When I arrived, security told me the building was closed, and to wait outside for 30 minutes. One woman told me, ‘I’ve been coming here 17 months, it’s useless, this place is a waste of time.’

By 9:15, Workforce1 directed a group of 30-or-so into a room. A presenter told us that WorkForce1 directs candidates to jobs and provides a resource room with ‘free’ phone, fax, job listings.

I know that whenever government says anything is free, it means you and I really pay for it. Just what kind of free “services” are we paying for this time?

The presenter explained, WorkForce1 helps enroll people in unemployment insurance and apply for disability handouts. This seemed like the only part of the presentation during which people took notes. People at WorkForce1 wanted handouts. One lady told me that she comes to WorkForce1 because it helps her collect unemployment. As two women filled out ‘job services’ forms, one asked the other, ‘what do you want to do?’ The second laughed, ‘I want to collect! Can I just write ‘waiting to be called back’ under the employment history section?

Next, I met with an advisor. She glanced at my resume and told me I lacked experience. I asked for any job she thought I was qualified for, and she scheduled an interview at Pret, a food chain that trains employees, for 10 a.m. the next Saturday.

It turned out that this “interview” was just a weekly open house, publicized on the company’s website. Anyone could walk in for a shot at a job. In fact, the guy behind me in line did just that. Despite my ‘scheduled interview’ I waited in line for over 90 minutes before meeting with a manager.

Surprise! WorkForce1 is just another bureaucracy that uses tax-payer money to spoon-feed handouts and re-packaged information to lazy people. In fact, you’d be better off if you sought out this info on your own.

After my interview, I identified myself to the store manager as an intern with Fox, and told him about my experience with WorkForce1. He told me he doesn’t communicate with WorkForce1 at all, ‘they never call, never ask questions.’

He explained, he doesn’t hire people sent by WorkForce1 – those people are ‘too lazy to look for a job.’ He hires people who seek out jobs on their own, like those who see Pret ads on Craigslist.

I thanked the manager for his time, and left.

Based on her experience, here is what my intern concluded:

•The government would rather sign me up for welfare than help me get a job.

•The government makes it easier to sign up for welfare than to find work.

•The NYC government creates a tax-payer funded bureaucracy to send people to the same websites people could find on their own.

•The private market for jobs works better.

I agree. The private market always works better, and these “jobs” programs do not work. Yet, the government funds them and wants to expand them. Politicians want to continue institutionalizing welfare offices, and incentivizing people to take ‘free stuff’ instead of to take initiative. They want to perpetuate the Welfare State.

This is bad for jobs, bad for business, and bad for America.

The costs of a Welfare State are high, and it’s clear who bears them: you.

• Disgracefully, hundreds of thousands of military ballots arrived too late from overseas to be counted! Officials claim a “shipping glitch” within the military, yeah right! These were enough to flip at least two states for Romney!
• In OVER 100 Ohio districts HAD 99% OR HIGHER VOTES FOR OBAMA! There are widespread reports of 100 to 140% of votes going to Obama IN PHILLY. That is mathematically impossible, unless you go back to the elections of Saddam Hussein or Kim Jong IL EVEN THEY DID NOT WIN WITH PERCENTAGES THAT HIGH!
• Many states have no voter identification requirements and widespread fraud has been reported by hundreds of polling places, and ignored. In addition, there is evidence that the democrats were using the mentally retarded, homeless, inmates, and asylum patients bussed to the polls.
• There were widespread reports of voting machines defaulting to Obama once you tried to finalize your vote.
• Finally, there were Republican poll watchers physically removed, or blocked, from observing polling places. Even when court ordered demands to allow them back in, they were intimidated and blocked from watching people hand marking absentee ballots by the thousands.

Take these factors, combine it with the frustrated Conservatives who stayed home and the Ron Paul votes and this is what we get! If we had voter integrity, and real efforts in place to curtail fraud….ROMNEY WOULD HAVE WON!

There were less than 3 million votes separating the popular vote too, there are at least 12 to 13 MILLION illegal aliens in the U.S., some estimate there are actually 20-22 million. The Democrats and Obama have fought tooth and nail for illegals and filed hundreds of lawsuits preventing election reforms and voter ID requirements. NOW YOU KNOW WHY!

Don’t Blame Me, I voted for Mitt….

In New England, the very seed of the American Revolution and the birth of our nation, the communist – intellectual founder of the Occupy Wall Street movement, “Elizabeth Pinnocheo-hontas” Warren ousted Scott Brown in Massachusetts, as did another liar, crook, and cheat, John Tierney, has dispatched  an openly gay  moderate Republican Richard Tisei. Tragic and unimaginable scenes like this played out around the country where patriots and military service members like Allen West of Florida were ousted by ultra-Liberal hacks of highly questionable character, and where people who belong more in jail than in congress, have won seats. This trend obviously went all the way to the top of the ticket, with help from the media, radical activists in the ACLU and other group-think radicals, and by activist judges squashing election reforms and protections all over the country. We will never know the extent of the fraud, but it surely exists and has some impact. I am not saying it tipped the races, but they certainly played a significant role. Illegal aliens and frauds were given the green light months ago by both the Obama administration, and by the Holder Justice Department. Black Panthers stood armed with clubs at polling centers; Republican poll watchers needed court orders to do their jobs and be allowed entry at polling sites. But in the end it was the 50% of Americans who feel Obama’s “Fundamental Transformation” of America needs to be completed. For those of you who abstained from voting, there is a special place in a town named Misery and a Hell for you.

Gay marriage, legalization of marijuana for both recreational and medical use, doctor assisted suicide, tax payer funded abortions, and other issues of massive moral decay have passed in states nationwide. I grossly misjudged the extent to which our nation has fallen into government dependency, moral decay, and rampant ignorance to what is going on around us, and of the perilous direction to which this nation is heading. As a nation we have diverged down the road to a New Dark Age, one that may last for decades, maybe more. I have tried my hardest to spread truth and light to all that I possibly could, in hopes that it would help carry out a victory for truth and to support a good and honest man of great character. A man who was in a battle with a tyrant and charlatan, hell bent on the destruction of every tradition that most of us hold dear, and to “fundamentally transform” what has made America the greatest nation in the history of mankind.

I vow today that I will not follow that path into darkness; I will follow the narrower path towards the light, where truth, honor, and love of country still matter. My path will lead to where a hand shake and a man’s word still hold weight and where a strong, honest work ethic defines a man’s character and where a government handout is something of shame and only accepted as a brief necessity in truly dire circumstances.

Extremely tough times are ahead, and for those of you who voted to follow that path to Socialism and Tyranny? You will learn soon enough the error of your ways and I hope God has mercy on you and your families, because I refuse to participate in this grand experiment, I refuse to be part this mistake of colossal proportion. I have been, and will continue to, work to protect my family from the New Dark Age and the coming misery the best I can, but unlike some, I will not forget this day and how those who had brought this pestilence upon our country out of ignorance and selfishness. I still believe that God has a plan for our nation. I don’t know where that plan will lead us, but apparently we have not yet learned the valuable lessons needed to bring good fortune upon this land and that we have certainly not learned from the mistakes of the past.

The Founders had a grand vision, and they wisely knew that Divine Providence had a hand in the creation of this great nation, yet we have lost our way and have trampled its traditions and drifted away from the Constitution and its principles, all the while thinking we know better than them, and better than Him. Our Constitution and our traditions are now, on this day, hanging by a thread and certainly four more years of rule by Statists may finally be the end, to which there is no coming back. For those of us who are still standing, and who still believe in the Founders vision, and still subscribe to the doctrines to which they gave their lives, and the lives millions of patriots that followed, we owe it to them to carry the torch of freedom to pass on to future generations, no matter the difficulties or seemingly insurmountable odds.

As Benjamin Franklin declared in the Pennsylvania Gazette on May 9, 1754……….”JOIN OR DIE”, that is where we are. Join the Light or enter the Darkness, that is where we are on November 7^th, 2012……the choice is yours, follow the 50% of fools or stay on the path of Freedom, the path our Founding Fathers paved for us over 230 years ago. Four frustratingly long years ago, a war-weary and economically battered America took a flier on a savior.

It didn’t work out.

Now, in 12 days, the nation will return to the polls — to reject, or to ratify, the results of the great Barack Obama experiment.That is, to reject or to ratify the notion that hoping for change is a sound footing for productive national policy.But, by the evidence, it is not.

It cannot create jobs.

It cannot reduce deficits.

It cannot restore foreign confidence in America — or Americans’ confidence in their own great nation.

Scrape it down to bedrock, and Mitt Romney knows that there is but one issue in this campaign: America’s woeful economy, and the demonstrated inability of President Obama to cope with it.

Obama says he inherited the mess, but he’s done nothing to fix it. Borrow, spend, regulate and redistribute is not a prescription for sustainable growth, yet that has been the totality of his program.

He says things will get better — soon. But there’s no evidence for that.

Obamanomics has produced:

* A sky-high national debt, now at a stupefying $16 trillion and growing.

* Intractable unemployment and a workforce hemorrhaging discouraged workers.

* No perceptible economic growth.

* Historic expansion in welfare programs — especially food stamps.

Obama proposes massive tax increases aimed not so much at the rich, as he claims, but squarely at the middle class and small business, which is insane: Small business — the real engine of American job creation — needs to be nurtured, not squeezed dry.

Americans need jobs — jobs for those trying to raise a family, jobs for those who are leaving school, jobs period!

Instead, they are about to be saddled with an unworkable health-care boondoggle that will suck hundreds of billions from a private-sector economy that could better use the cash to create — yes — more jobs!

Can Mitt Romney really turn all this around? Yes, he can.

In the debates, Americans saw a leader.

They saw a man with the experience, the temperament, the principles and the knowledge to address America’s economic woes instead of just blaming others.

After all, as governor of deep-blue Massachusetts, he worked with a Democratic legislature to close a $3 billion deficit without raising taxes or borrowing.

There is one other significant issue.

Four years ago, Obama vowed “to restore America’s standing in the world.” But he has sown rancor and confusion instead.

Our friends don’t know if they’re still our friends; our enemies wonder whether we have the courage to stand up to them.

The result has been a cataclysmic breakdown of US leadership in the Middle East.

Israel — and not just Israel — questions whether Obama is committed to curbing Iran’s nuclear threat.

Syria is in open civil war, while Egypt and Libya teeter on the brink. Osama bin Laden may be dead, but al Qaeda has hardly been contained — as Benghazi tragically proved.

In contrast, the smoke now hanging over the Middle East testifies to Obama’s inability to get the job done.

Any job.

Because, in the end, the fundamental problem is the president’s core philosophy.

He believes in equality of outcome, not equality of opportunity — and that is not how America is supposed to work.

America is not working right now.

Forward?

For four more years?

We think not.

Mitt Romney for president.

Ground Zero, Columbus Ohio…….the news trucks are lined up around the convention center and at the State House, thousands of reporters from all over the world. Japan, Australia, and even Al Jazeera….probably here to vote for Obama. All eyes are on Ohio and no one knows the outcome. I have only anecdotal evidence from the amount of yard signs, perceived enthusiasm, and by what I have seen at rallys, including the big one last night at Port Columbus Airport featuring the who’s who of the Republican Party and tunes from The Oak Ridge Boys and The Marshall Tucker Band. The lines were huge, biggest I have ever seen and they waited hours in the cold to get in, standing room only. Meanwhile, at Nationwide Arena, a huge venue, Obama had Jay Z and Bruce Springsteen as a crowd getter and they bet on a packed house. From the reports I see is that only the floor was packed and some of the loge areas were spotty, the upper decks were as empty as Obama’s promises.

The line this morning at my polling place were quite long, it took about an hour total to get through the line, I saw that as a positive sign. Let’s hope my personal observations are an accurate bellwether, and my gut feeling is a blowout by Romney. I am praying for that outcome as to avoid a close call and another Florida fiasco, because I fear if that happens there may be trouble, real trouble.

All I can say is that I hope the famed first vote in the nation from Dixville Notch, NH, where Romney has a sizeable stronghold and a summer home, will not be the true bellwether. They split the vote 50/50……5 votes to 5 votes. God save the United States of America, as He is the only one who truly knows the outcome of this historic election.
